Data deletion
Last updated 13 August 2026
You can delete your data from FoundryStack Social at any time. There are three ways, depending on how much you want removed.
1. Disconnect a single channel
In the Service, open Channels, choose the connected account, and select Disconnect. This immediately and permanently deletes that account's stored credentials and its cached profile and settings. We can no longer access that account afterwards.
Posts already published to that account stay on the platform — they belong to your account there, and deleting them is done on the platform itself.
2. Delete your whole account
Open Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, every connected channel and its credentials, all drafts and scheduled posts, uploaded media, publishing history, and analytics. Scheduled posts that have not yet been published are cancelled and will not go out.
Deletion completes within 30 days, including removal from backups. It cannot be undone.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email support@foundrystack.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Data deletion request". We will verify ownership, delete the data, and confirm within 30 days.
Requests from a social platform
If you remove FoundryStack Social from a connected platform's app settings, that platform may notify us automatically. We honour those notifications the same way as an in-app disconnect: the corresponding credentials and cached platform data are deleted on receipt.
The automated endpoint for those notifications is
https://social.foundrystack.app/data-deletion/callback.
What we keep, and why
After deletion we retain only what we are legally required to: minimal billing and tax records for invoiced accounts, for the period the law requires. These contain no post content, no analytics, and no platform credentials.
